New York University School of Law - Law Students for Economic Justice ("LSEJ")
Law Students for Economic Justice (LSEJ) is a student organization at NYU School of Law that is committed to organizing students in the fight for economic justice. LSEJ educates students, builds community, provides student-run direct services, and connects students with allied grassroots causes. LSEJ also organizes the Coalition for Labor Action by Workers and Students (CLAWS), the coalition of unions and allied groups at NYU who are working to build the labor movement on campus and win dignity, security, and a real voice for every worker at NYU. Additionally, LSEJ is home to NYU Law's chapter of CLASS (Consumer Law Advocates, Students, & Scholars), a nationwide network of law students dedicated to promoting consumer law and developing the next generation of consumer advocates.
LSEJ supports ION by developing trainings for workers centered on their rights under local labor laws and contributing toward research on the future of labor law at the federal level. You can learn more about LSEJ here.
