The first volume of the Post-NLRA Project, Labor With or Without the NLRA, explores the potential implications of a partially or fully overturned NLRA. First, we explore some of the history behind the passage of the NLRA, and the Act’s legal nature. Next, we examine the legal challenges currently faced by the NLRA, which aim to overturn the constitutional foundation of the Act. We then delve into the history of the threats faced by working-class activists shortly before the NLRA was enacted, to project which legal weapons employers and a labor-hostile administration could wield against unions and organizers. Finally, we share a glimpse into the labor movements' fight to save the NLRA.
